![]() I will say they aren't a lot of money on sale but I wouldn't characterize them as cheap. Now you used the phrase "cheapest looking" and who can argue with what looks cheap to another or what you think is ugly for that matter. That said, if I was considering an optic or a quad rail, I would easily choose to put my first effort into researching and chasing down the optic. If you need the real estate for accessories and that is what you like, go for it. I expect if I had a few things like a light, bipod, laser, fore grip and other items I might chase down a quad rail. I have 1 M-Lok adapter on the upper left side of the weapon for the light, puts my thumb in the perfect spot to turn the light on. On this particular AR pistol, just a light. ![]() Now just to keep it somewhat on topic for the OP, I don't hang much off the MOE handguard. They have a heat shield similar to, not exactly the same, as a mil-spec guard. ![]() I'd put a MOE handguard on it and buy an optic. How does the MOE Function? It is the fugliest cheapest looking handguard on the market and I always wonder what is the draw to them.I like mine a lot.
